Christmas in 2022 really lives up to the hype! At 1250m altitude, on the border of the picturesque villages of Şirnea and Ciocanu, on the Rucăr-Bran Corridor, in the heart amazing Transylvania.

Come to Ursa Mică Glamping Resort, between December 23 and 26, to celebrate the Romanian way under the Carpathian sky, with special traditional dishes, cooked from fresh local ingredients, and a cup of good cheer.

From dusk till dawn, you can enjoy the sublime view offered by Piatra Craiului Massif, from the comfort of your own heated bungalow, with its own bathroom, and enjoy well-deserved relaxation in one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Romania.

We are preparing a menu with delicious Romanian food, cooked from fresh, local ingredients, so that your taste buds will jump with joy in our new and unique restaurant with panoramic view at Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains.

Day 1 – 23RD of DECEMBER

o Fasting Food – House Fasting Tray with mashed beans spread and zacuscă

o Main Course – Chicken Pot Roast with Pilaf

o Fasting Food – Main Course – Mushroom Sote with white gravy and mashed potatoes

o Desert – Apple Pie

Day 2 – 24TH of DECEMBER

• Breakfast ( Eggs – fried/ omelette/ boiled/ scrambled, Cheese selection, Cured meat selection, Fresh vegetables, Milk, Tea, Filter coffee )

• Lunch

o Main Course – Veggie Cream Soup with croutons

o Second Course – White Beans with Smoked Pork

o Fasting Food – Second Course – White Beans

o Fruit

• CHRISTMAS EVE FESTIVE DINNER:

o Starter – romanian traditional pork starter plate made in Ursa Mică Glamping style;

o Oven baked Trout, served with lemon gravy and buttery veggies, next to the most soulful sweet potatoes;

o Romanian Sărmăluțe made with love and served with bio sour cream, as you may only find up here at Ursa Mică Glamping, with a side of polenta and a deadly hot pepper;

o Pork tenderloin steak served with Pepe Verde gravy, alongside infused rice with peanuts, green onions and celery;

o Romanian Papanași with sour cream and Blueberry jam made by Ursa Mică Glamping Resort.
